Subject: #RAquestion Investigating The Role of Psych Drugs In Mass
Murders
Dear
Mr. Moore,
I
know this can't be long, so I won't include all the backup, but I will be
available if you would like to follow up with me.
In
Bowling for Columbine, you repeatedly ask the question of why there are so many
gun deaths in the United States, but never arrived at an answer. Since
then, in Gary Null's film, "The Drugging
of our Children," you have apparently become informed about
psychiatric drugs causing people to commit horrific acts, such as Columbine,
and said, "there
should be an investigation in terms of what prescribed pharmaceuticals these
kids were on." One of the problems is that this
information has been suppressed for many of the shooters. For example, I
think it is known that Eric Harris, one of the Columbine shooters, was on
psychiatric drugs, but it is unclear whether Dylan Klebold was. The
records regarding Adam Lanza, the NewTown shooter; Seung-Hui Cho, the
Virginia Tech shooter; James Holmes, the Aurora Shooter; Jared Loughner, the
Tucson Shooter; and many more have been suppressed.
My
question is are you willing to put up a fraction of yours or your company's
money to sue to obtain the information on what psychiatric drugs Dylan Klebold
and the perpetrators of some of these other horrific acts were
prescribed? Toxicology
reports won't tell the whole story, because these drugs can have such effects
long after they have been taken. Especially with the so-called anti-depressants,
the two-week or so period after any dose change is especially dangerous.
That means going up or down, starting or stopping. See, Medication
Madness by Dr. Peter Breggin for well-documented instances of psychiatric
drugs causing people to commit horrific acts.
The
United States Supreme Court has held "the courts of this country recognize
a general right to inspect and copy public records
and documents." Nixon v. Warner Communications 435 U.S. 589,
597 (1978). I have urged a number of news agencies to file lawsuits to
get this sort of information to no avail. I have reluctantly come to the
conclusion that the pharmaceutical industry's massive advertising payments are
preventing such inquiries. In fact I have been told as much by reporters.
I
wrote the President's Task Force on Gun Violence for the same sort of
investigation you called for and got a form
letter in response. It is clear our mainstream media and government
are bought and paid for by big business interests to the detriment of the
public. I am admirer of your incredible work in exposing this and hope
you will find the merit--and necessity--of taking the step yourself of
financing litigation to expose the contribution of psychiatric drugs to gun
violence.

PsychRights®
Law Project for
Psychiatric Rights
The Law Project for Psychiatric Rights is a public interest law firm
devoted to the defense of people facing the horrors of forced psychiatric
drugging and electroshock. We are further dedicated to exposing the truth
about these drugs and the courts being misled into ordering people to be
drugged and subjected to other brain and body damaging interventions against
their will. Currently, due to massive growth in psychiatric drugging of
children and youth and the current targeting of them for even more psychiatric
drugging, PsychRights has made attacking this problem a priority.
Children are virtually always forced to take these drugs because it is the
adults in their lives who are making the decision. This is an unfolding
national tragedy of immense proportions. Extensive information about all
of this is available on our web site, http://psychrights.org/.
