The primary message is that there are six Hunger Strikers in Pasadena, now on day X and over a dozen Solidarity Hunger Strikers around the world protesting Psychiatry's using the totally unproven theory that mental illnesses are biologically-based brain diseases to force drug tens and hundreds of thousand of people with very dangerous, mind-numbing drugs. They should be covering it. The Hunger Strikers requested the American Psychiatric Association (APA), the Surgeon General and the National Alliance for the Mentally Ill (NAMI) to produce any valid scientific evidence of their theories. The APA's Response essentially said go look in our textbooks and journals. A panel of 14 internationally recognized experts designated to review the evidence, in its Scientific Panel Letter, reviewed the scientific literature cited by the APA and found it said the opposite of what the APA asserted.
